How  making economical rocks, walls,...

A. JAMIN

The  rocks on theses  pictures were made with  plaster, (rapid) or GOLBDAND (more slow) in latex moulds.  Moulds are  filled with plaster directly at the place on the scenery, on polystiren support.

The most useful  advantage of this method : esay to work as turned out and for painting with water-based color. You, can also put color directly in the plaster.

Moulds are made with liquid latex putted on real rocks , so they are very realistic (as coal). You must put 15 times liqui latex ont he rocks to have a solid mould.

You should buy cheap brushes, they are no more usable after putting 3 or 4 times latex on rocks.

Resin can also be used to make mould, but it's more expensive.
